Tried exploring this restaurant after going through reviews here. I would say it’s a mixed bag. The entrance to hotel Satkar Grande is a bit confusing. You look for entrance from the front side, but actually it is alongside the lane.Once inside the restaurant, the ambience is good, but despite going there on Sunday evening, there was not much crowd. That gave me a bit anxiety about the choice of the restaurant.But once we ordered food, we found the quality to be ok and more than that, the staff is very forthcoming and courteous. The only thing I found not acceptable, and hope it was an exception, is that food delivered at table was just warm if not cold. I expect piping hot dishes till it reaches your table and I was disappointed on this count.I hope there are more good reviews of the restaurant which prompts me to try it again.
This is a restaurant in Satkar Grande hotel and serves breakfast buffet for in-house guests. I was attending a conference in the hotel and reached quite early. I saw the breakfast buffet and asked them if outside guests are allowed on payment basis and the answer was yes so I had my breakfast there.It was one table spread which was typically Indian and one of the worst spreads that I have seen till date. Most of the things were cold and it felt like having breakfast at home.Staff was courteous and it was very cheap but for me the quality of spread and food is much more important.Definitely not the place for your breakfast buffet.

Visited this place on the Tuesday afternoon after hunting alot for a good place to dine in. It wasn’t crowded much and the staff was really friendly and courteous. As they suggested, we took buffet instead of ala-carte. The buffet was of ₹549 per head which was really worth. Kiwi mocktail, fish fingers, Mexican roll, chicken irani kebab, chicken salad, balti ki sabzi, and some yummy desserts are really must haves here. The ambience is quite good for a fine dining and the staff were really helpful to their guests. I would like to visit again. Cheers!
Went to lunch buffet with friends ambience is good, food is good starters are hot to your plate..currys are good only problem is roties are small like papad and rice is only ghee rice, rest qll r good..
A bit confused while reviewing this restaurant the reason is, That service and ambiance was good. Even the food was nice except the main course part. We asked them to prepare it spicy but disappointed though. Starters and mocktail was good but unhappy with the main course dishes. Service is fast and I recommend them to play some good music next time :p
I have had breakfast and dinner in this restaurant a number of times. My observations are as follows:1. Seating- little uncomfortable seating. The backrest of the sofas are 90 degrees straight and not relaxing enough to increase your appetite . The tables are at times unstable and keeps shaking.2. Food- just amazing food with lots of varieties. Needless to mention here that the breakfast buffet is very well laid out and has authentic tastes as far as my understanding goes .3. Drinks- Has decent collection of varieties of liquor and non alcoholic drinks. Reasonably priced as well.4. Presentation – the presentation of F&B and the fine finishing can be improved with little training of the staff. The overall set up of the restaurant is again praiseworthy but needs some fine finishing.5. Staff- The staff are hospitable and warm. They actually take care of the guests well.
