  Fast n Fresh is a new restaurant at the Crowne Plaza Pune City Centre and as the name suggests it hopes to serve fresh quick meals for people on the go. They aim to have a turnaround time from ordering to eating to bill of just 15 minutes. Bit ambitious, but very good indeed for people short on time who end up eating junk food instead of an actual meal. They use fresh ingredients, simple cooking methods and dishes that can be dished out quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality, taste or healthiness.They have a primarily Asian menu with a few Indian curry – rice combos. A few more of those as well as some Continental dishes will be added soon. In my experience, the food was excellent and seems to satisfy their goals. The cost of each dish is about Rs. 400-600, which is a bit high, in my opinion.Starters – We had quite a few out of which the Chicken Shezwan was my top pick. Amazing flavour, with a great hit of spice but not overpowering or artificial tasting like most other places that make it. The Golden Fried Seafood in Shezwan dip was excellent too. Really fresh prawns, calamari and fish, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a spicy and tangy sauce.The Crispy Waterchestnuts and Lotus Stem were delicious vegetarian starters with the Chinese Spring Onion Pancake being my favourite. So flavourful.Mains – Red Thai Curry chicken was just creamy, intense and excellent, proper comfort food. The Hakka Noodles with Vegetables and Kimchi was amazing too. Very familiar flavour but taken up a notch. The Burmese Khow Suey was decent, not as flavourful as I’ve had before. A bit more fried garlic and caramelised onions would have made the difference. Though a very light and satisfying curry.Dessert – We had Tiramisu and it was excellent. It was topped with loads of Drinking Chocolate powder instead of coffee, which was disappointing, but the taste was great. It was creamy, intense and delicious.

  A cute little restaurant in Crowne Plaza which focuses on serving fresh food on the go. Their basic idea is to serve quick meals or meal in a bowl which will reach the table in minutes. The menu is short and simple and comprises of Asian and Indian food. Their TG is the corporates and the in house guests as it’s a business hotel and is at the city center.So moving forward here’s what all I had Fast N Fresh :1. Crispy Lotus Stem2.Crispy Water Chestnut3. Chinese Spring Onion Pancake4. Schezwan Chicken5. Golden Fried Seafood6. Khow Suey7. Thai Curry with Steamed Rice8. TiramisuMy favorites from the above mentioned are the lotus stem, fried seafood, khow suey and Thai curry with rice.Overall, if you’re looking for quick eats or a quick meal this is the place to be.
