I have been searching for the perfect butter chicken in all the nooks and corners of Pune. The search finally stopped after a friend swore by the chicken delicacies at Samrat Queen. Trust me, the lunch was super worth it. I am a North Indian foodie who takes her food as serious as her board examinations. Do visit the place even if you are in Pune for a day. It is just opposite Pune Station and has nice spread for people who respect food.Go visit. You will thank me.
The location is so apt ! Accessible fromMost key areas of PUNE. Perfect place to get off from your train journey and grab a generous byte. Let’s get the food now ! The Butter Chicken is by far the best I’ve had here in Pune ! Creamy yet sweet with a burst of flavour. It hits your taste buds well. Service is fast good staff as well. The mutton is to die for ! Simply superb !
I went there as I was staying close to it. Had Chicken Maratha. Though looks spicy wasn’t very spicy but was really nice. Not exactly a family restaurant but grt 4 smone like me on a business trip staying close
This place is located behind pune station, not every person would dream of going there for lunch but trust me it is the best place I ve been to in a long long time for some amazing Chicken tikka and Butter chicken. It’s a part of hotel Samrajya. I would say the hotel is known for their food more than the stay. Plenty of parking space, staff is very decent and friendly. Honestly I found out after reading Akash Mehta’s review. Thanks Akash for writing up. Thanks Pranay Shinde for the brilliant treatment. I would recommend all the butter chicken lovers to try this place out.Ps- they also have a bar, perfect for a sunday afternoon meal with the boys.
A restaurant that serves Pune’s best Butter Chicken, Chicken Banjara, Paneer Tikka. Another Signature dish is the Mushroom Masala. Garlic rice is worth a try.
The photos provided are of the old restaurant. The restaurant has been renewed with a better ambiance!!! The butter chicken is somethin to die for. A good restaurant and bar just outside pune station with a seating decent enuf for families. Overall good budget and good ambiance.
