This is the hot snacks outlet of Kothari sweets and dry fruits.The store has existed since 1960.The store is known for its Punjabi samosa -which has the right punch and a generous filling of potato and green peas.It was piping hot and loved it especially with the date and tamarind chutney.The other green chutney was passable.The farali kachori was stellar with coconut and potato filling,packed with flavors that appeal to you.The jalebi was made with desi ghee.Had just the right amount of sweetness and hot and fresh.Minus points-Lacked the ambience that the other two kothari stores had.They could work on making the store visually inviting and looking more clean.Its always packed ,so you have to grab the attention of the sellers on the counter.They could sell coupons which could make it easier for all.They have to work on the ambience and cleanliness of the overall place.
Kothari Sweets & Dry Fruits is located about 10 to 15 minutes walkable distance from Mulund station.This place is famous for its yummy kaman dokhla and samosa.We visited this store during the evening time on last Saturday for some delicious evening snacks.We ordered one plate of kaman dokhla.The dokhla was soft and spongy and also had a good taste.The served quantity is enough for one person.This kaman dokhla deserves 4/5 review points based on its overall taste and served quantity.The staff are polite and humble in behaviour.The service that one get is good and fast.The ambience of the store is okay.Overall Review Points:-1.Food Quality and Taste:4/52.Served Quantity:4/53.Ambience:4/54.Service:4/5
