Very good taste & pocket friendly.
Its a cozy restaurant located in the interiors of lonavala with dhaba style sitting space but with no proper fans or ventilation which gets lil uncomfortable specially in monsoon. Found this place after a friend referred me for the chicken missal. I was hoping for matki mixed with chicken keema but it turned out to be chicken rassa with chicken keema and farsan. It tasted nice even if not something out of the world. Also tried their chicken thali which had chicken sukka which was on the spicy side and nicely done Except the boil chicken part. Chicken masala dint taste much good. Portions were too huge for one person. Good and economic thali option.

Came across Marathi Zatkaa which is a very new place and specializes in Chicken Missal.Sounded very strange to me but I added to my list to give it a try.We decided to have our lunch there as they also had chicken thali. We reached via Google Maps and the location was very apt.It’s a small place with 10 plastic tables and chairs. Open Air with portable fans.We ordered one Chicken Missal and one Chicken Thali.Chicken Missal is basically Chicken Keema served with rassa and farsan, pav, onion and tomato. Instead of the pulses like chana or matki, this has Chicken Keema. I like the concept but was still hesitant about the taste. But on first bite, it tasted really good. The keema was well prepared, the rassa was spicy as well.Something new to have and for those who enjoy nonveg food, this is a must try.Not a fan of their chicken thali though. Thali had chicken sukka, chicken masala, keema, rice, roti. Chicken sukka masala was very nice but the chicken was not cooked well I think. Chicken masala gravy was also nice. I liked the thali without the chicken in it.I’ll reccomend to only try the Chicken Missal here.They accept payment via Paytm and Google which is a good thing as majority of people are online now. Service is quick.
I was recently at Lonavla and we visited a nice little restaurant. We ordered Chicken Malvani Masala and Chicken Sukka and I cant tell you how yumm it was. Have this with Bhakri and your soul will feel satisfied.
It is bit away (around 1km)from lonavla st bus stand.If you are in lonavala then this is a must try.Speciality is their Non-veg thalis and Special chicken Misal. I was bit skeptical about the chicken misal but when i tasted it it was very nice.Also in chicken thali they served us 3types of chicken.Woul not suggest veg misal as it was average and not that good.Quality:4Quantity:4.5Taste:4.5(for non-veg)Service:3Value for Money.
