Bell pepper located at Stella just adjacent to the main road is a small restaurant that serves tandoor, Thai and Chinese food. I, along with my friend, had been here one evening for a light dinner.As soon as we entered, a staff member all smiles welcomed us and showed us the dining area. Seating area is small and a bit congested and can accommodate approximately 20 people at a time. We came here at around 8 and were indeed lucky to get a table as the restaurant got jampacked a while later.We seated ourselves and took to ordering some appetizers. We asked a staff member for some suggestions and he was sweet enough to explain every dish we asked him about. We then made our mind and ordered lemon chilly chicken and chicken tikka.In the beginning before our food was brought to the table, we were served complimentary fried noodles with schezwan sauce. Food service was quick and the wait time wasn’t much eventhough the place was brimming with people.Chicken lemon chillyThis appetizer came in a lemon coloured form with good pieces of chicken for 2 people. It wasn’t the usual chicken chilly but rather a delicious modification with a zingy lemon flavour that gave an altogether different flavor and feel to the dish. I liked the lemony taste along with onions, garlic and capsicum added to it. This dish should be eaten hot as it tastes better that way.Chicken tikkaThis was one of the juiciest chicken tikka I’ve relished. Juicy pieces of chicken were served with a side helping of salad consisting of cabbage, onions and capsicum. A spicy green chutney served alongside added a certain punch to the already chatpata salad as well as chicken.The flavour imparted by all those spices used was so amazing that my friend decided to parcel a fresh order of the same.Being a light dinner, we ordered only 2 appetizers to satisfy our tummy. This being my 1st time at Bell pepper, I was quite happy with the quality and quantity of food served. I’ve already recommended this place to my family and friends, so what are you waiting for! Don’t you too want to give it a try?
Food – 5/5Ambiemce – 4/5Staff – 3/5I have been to this place 4-5 times. It has never dissapointed me. Chinese cuisines are delicious and mouth watering. If you really enjoy having snacks, please do go for it. Only the space issue is there. There is not much space to sit. If you have a small group of 4-5 people, you can adjust there. Also a benefit is there for Muslim people. It is Halal restaurant. Go enjoy It.
