Twice, I have been served and both the time the experience did not live up to the appreciation I had received from vasaikars who swear by it’s mughlai fare. The mughlai menu is as mundane as possible and the taste too boring. The tikkas I had ordered were not soft and succulent and the butter chicken main course was too spicy. ( Did mention non-spicy) It’s a small hotel and sitting is fine for a quick lunch. Takeaway is more preferable. However, .5 extra for the friendly staff and their zeal to be hospitable to their customers.
Hotel Shahi Darbar is pretty close to my home and i have been here with my family many times. This place is famous for non veg food with very pocket friendly rates.The staff is very polite and cooperative for their service. Ambiance is also good as far as cleanliness is concerned. I would recommend to have Butter Chicken with butter naan. I know too much butter will make it stuffed but i bet you will never forget the taste.Food we ordered:Butter Chicken – The chicken is so damn tender it will melt as soon as you will take a bite. The butter in it makes it more juicy and delicious.Chicken Tawa Pulav- This dish is so stuffed with chicken that i am sure once you eat chicken tawa pulav , you will not ask for anything else (not even water).Kheema Naan – Kheema is always my favorite and they didnt make me regret on my decision. It was finger licking. The taste was so good that we had to repeat the order.Below ratings are as per my review.Food : 9/10Ambiance : 7/10Service: 8/10Overall : 8/10
A small place but serves yum biryanis and kormas. Mutton may be available depending on the demand, but one could always call and check.Definitely light on the pocket.
Ambiance : 3/5Food : 5/5Service : 3.5/5Value for money : 5/5Shahi Darbar – Nice place for Biryani and Tandoori lovers, The biryani and kababs are fabulous, The service is good, Ambiance is fine as hotel is very congested but worth to adjust with congestion when it comes to taste of Biryani, You can try Singapore Kabab, Tawa Chicken which are another nice dishes.
Awesome place my favorite the food is delicious and spicy the chicken tandoori is super juicy and the briyani is out of this world must try place!
had ordered chicken biryani once for takeaway n was impressed with its uncommon taste.then went to eat there (very much low key ambience almost like some canteen) but what its lacks in ambience makes up in food quality.very reasonable price for good quality food.spl.mention for tandoor roti it was d very best tandoor roti I have had till date.
