  Strictly Do Not order even if its for Free not eatable at all..!! Today ordered Chicken biryani from this place “Star Biryani” for the first time and trust me this was the worst biryani i ever had.It was so much oily and the masala had no taste, also it is uselessly expensive 120/- Rs Again Strictly NO

  Had this biryani after looking at recommendations of many, both on Zomato and also some other online blogs..Unfortunately, the quality did not come up to mark.Quantity wise, it’s enough of one person, the quality of rice is also appropriate..same as used for biryanis, long one and cooked also nicely.But the good points stop here,The biryani had some color mixed, the quantum of gravy is less, it’s less juicy.. the flavour is okay, the oil is just fine..One other thing observed was the biryani was already packed and ready for delivery by 8.30 pm that means it must have been prepared quite early..The raita along with it had more of onion and less of curd in it..The price of biryani was bit higher considering the quality of biryani and it’s not even DUM biryani..My suggestion would be to avoid it and can be opted only if other option is not available

  Discovered this place through Zomato on my hunt for biryani for our team lunch. It is a delivery and takeaway outlet, since our office was not in the immediate vicinity they refused to deliver and we had to get the food collected.We ordered their chicken biryani for about 20 pax. The 2.5kg biryani for 18 to 20pax was fairly sufficient.The taste was good not great. The good things about this biryani was that it wasn’t to oily or spicy. We also ordered few portions veg biryani for our herbivore friends and it was good as well.The raita that accompanied was a bit runny.All in all its was a fairly nice treat for lunch, didn’t quite match my expectations but no regrets.I would like to give their mutton biryani a try next time.

  They serve the best biryani in Navi Mumbai. Period. Yes, it’s that good. I’ve tried biryani at various renowned places across Mumbai and none of them match up to the taste and authenticity of the one served by this tiny takeaway joint in Vashi. If you like your biryani with less gravy and more of spices and flavour, you’ll definitely love this! For the ones who love biryani with loads of gravy, try the ones at Chings! The biryani here is one of the most authentic I’ve ever tasted. The rice is flavoursome and the chicken/mutton is cooked to perfection. The spices blend in really well. Plus, the raita goes well with the biryani. The entire amalgamation is a treat to your tastebuds! The best part is the price, at only Rs 120 for a Chicken Biryani, it’s absolutely a steal and the quantity is sufficient for a foodie like me! Mutton Biryani is also moderately priced at 140-150. I wish they’d a proper restaurant for dine outs or atleast some publicity associated with it. Also, I find that many people (even in Vashi) have not tasted their biryani which is a cardinal sin!
