Hotel R J family restaurant and bar located in Virar , Mumbai.. I have visited this place many times.. Regular customer of RJ.. This place is near my house so whenever bored of eating food at home we just rush here.. Perfect ambience with vibrant colours of walls with beautiful decors on the wall gives you hunger vibe.. There is fish tank consisting of various fishes with some huge tank.. It’s a bar but it has an family room as well with a separate entry.. They also serve drinks in family room which is also air conditioned.. Drinking area is separate.. The place is good.. Tried many of the starters like Chicken Crispy, Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Chilly, Chicken 65 and Hasina Kabab.. Also tried Schezwan Noodles & Fried Rice.. All were expectedly good in terms of quality and the way they were served was upto the mark.. Cocktails n Mocktails are not available here.. The only thing that bothered me is the staff.. They’re well mannered but they cannot handle consumers properly.. They accept reservations, also home delivery is available.. Rj resturent is a very weird restaurant, the moment u sit on the table the staff will tell u to go and sit on the other table. Yes it’s not a joke there is a board itself saying that u will not sit wherever you want. There is a board stating that ” DO NOT WASTE TIME ” being from hospitality industry guest are like God. People come to spend good time with their friends and loved ones. Staff attitude is very casual i would suggest do not go for staff recommendations. We ordered for special RJ non veg platter and It was not good. Chicken was under cooked, the mince chicken was also under cooked. Chinese food is what I would recommend, less oil, good quantity. Staff needs to be more friendly.
The non-veg dishes are delicious like chicken handi, chicken starters & butter chicken. The service & the quality of food is comparatively better than ambience.
