This place has elaborate seating area and have given ambiance of a village, which looks good. Food menu is elaborate and they have a lot of variety of non veg food and seafood. I ordered special chicken thali, felt like dishes were less, i have mostly had special thalis with two chicken dishes and this had only one. Tambda pandhra rassa is ultimate, chicken rassa is adequately spiced. Chicken tastes good with tandoori roti for a change. They also did not shy away in giving onion salad, even though onions were costly. Only downside in the thali was rice, which could have been better. One more thing, they do not accept cards if your bill is under 500.

Jagdamb family restaurant is a new restaurant in Wanowrie area, just opposite the famous Shinde Chhatri. The appearance of the hotel is very appealing in the form of a historic fort. Even the interior is similar to the theme with swords, shields and spears. Owned by Mr. Santosh Shinde, his son Siddhesh was taking care of the property when we visited.About the food. We ordered -Jagdamb special mutton thali – This consisted of pandhra rassa, tambda rassa, kheema, kheema laddoo, dhangari mutton, mutton chops, sukkha mutton, chapati, indrayani rice and solkadhi. Mutton was tender and well cooked. Solkadhi was not as good as the other dishes. Also, tambda rassa was a bit thick, not soupy as to drink along. 3.5 / 5Jagdamb special chicken thali – This consisted of pandhra rassa, tambda rassa, chicken 65, dhangari chicken, boiled egg, jowar bhakri chicken sukkha, indrayani rice and solkadhi. Bhakri was a bummer – very very thick, due to which it was undercooked. Chicken dishes were tasty and I personally liked the dhangari chicken. 3 / 5Butter chicken – tasty dish, which was very much liked by my children. 3 / 5Butter Roti – Good soft and served hot 3 / 5Mutton Maratha – Mutton pieces served in thick brown gravy. Gravy was very tasty, but couple of pieces were a bit chewy. 3 / 5To summarize, it was a good experience. We would like to visit again, but to try out other dishes (apart from Thali).Food – 3 / 5Service – 3 / 5Ambience – 4 / 5Overall – 3 / 5
