This place is a Take-away place near Salunke Vihar Telephone exchange. They used to have delivery, but due to unavailability of the delivery guy, the’ve turned into Take-away only. A family owned and run outlet, this is THE place for great Kababs and Tandoori. I have had food from here a few times, and the realized it was too late for a review :). Took some kababs yesterday too. Ordered Tangdi Kabab combo (Two Tandoori and One Malai Chicken Drumstick), Chicken Tikka Platter (3 pieces each of Chicken Tikka, Chicken Angara, Chicken Malai and Chicken Afgani) and one Chicken Tandoori Leg piece. The a few pieces of Tikka platter were a bit chewy, hence reduced one star, else would’ve rated 5. All the rest were juicy, well cooked and perfectly blended. The marination was really perfect. Most importantly, the flavours were upto the mark, not too spicy which helped my kids enjoy it to their fullest. That was the icing on the cake. A great combination of Pocket friendly and satiating experience. Food – 4 / 5VFM – 5 / 5Service – 5 / 5Overall – 4 / 5P.S: I just have the photos of the chicken pre-grilled. The packed grilled food was so delicious and was so so tempting, couldn’t even wait for capturing the photos, before we gulped them and finished it off. They also have multiple modes of payment

A palace in Salunkhe Vihar that serves succulent kebabs. A family run outlet, they are very welcoming. After a very long time I got hold of nice juicy tender kebabs. The meat it fresh and the kebabs are perfectly cooked and taste really well too. These guys can put some of the best restaurants in town that serve kebabs to shamr. A perfect place if you’re looking for a quick bite. A must visit.

She runs a quaint little joint called Lyra. Simple and down to earth is what she is. If you ever drop by or even drive past, you will find her standing with her curly hair pulled back into a no nonsense pig tail and on her feet catering to her clients with a warm smile that reaches directly to her eyes. Yes .. Those twinkling eyes speak volumes and make you feel like ordering everything on the menu. The menu consists of mostly barbecued items. Tandoori chicken legs in various flavors and chicken tikkas again with different marinades. The chicken is marinated by Aiman ( twinkly eyes) hours before it is cooked. And when you put the first morsel in your mouth, you will understand why I’m writing such a lengthy review. It is juicy, succulent and heavenly. My personal comment was ‘orgasmic’. And to top it off, the prices are so reasonable!!! She is going to start biryanis and rolls very soon but for now I’m just addicted to those barbecues. An absolute MUST visit. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Address: Chaudhary villaOff Salunkhe vihar road,Diagonally Opp food United and monginis. Next to Kondhwa telephone exchange.

In a sea of places offering similar food, how do you stand apart? By ensuring your food is perfectly cooked, and you don’t charge the earth for it.My sister introduced me to Lyra, she was passing by and was drawn in the by the delicious aroma of the kebabs, and picked the only thing that was ready at the time, because she was in a rush. The kebabs were gone practically as soon as they reached home. They were succulent, well marinated and grilled to just the right doneness.Encouraged by those, we ordered enough to feed 15 more people a few days later. I was partially concerned because I wasn’t sure that the quantity would have an effect on the quality. My fears were unfounded, the Kalimiri Kebabs, the chicken seekh, the tangdi kebabs and the tandoori kebabs were all as juicy and flavoursome as could be.Lyra is more of a takeaway place and they deliver to areas around them. If it’s kebabs you crave, this is the place for you. Their grills rank right up there with some of the best in the city. They only operate in the evenings though, so if you have a big order to place, like we did, call them in advance. They won brownie points because they delivered exactly when they said they would.

Lyra.. Small in size – Big on taste! I had been told about this teeny-tiny roadside food stall, on Salunke Vihar road, by my friend, Sharon. While driving past, it suddenly dawned on me that I was in the same vicinity as Lyra. They have a limited menu and, on a whim, I decided to pick up two items: Mutton Seekh Kabab and Chicken Pahadi Tikka. As soon as I reached home, I unpacked the kababs, clicked the photograph and dug in. The Mutton Seekh was perfectly spiced and delicious. Unfortunately, they do not make any kinds of roti/s to go with the kababs. Luckily, the carnivore in me doesn’t need any! 😛 The Pahadi Tikka was marinated in a green marinade. The tikkas were cooked to retain their succulent texture, just the way I like them. No complaints at all in regard to either of the dishes. I cannot wait to try more items from their menu. Please note, they are only open in the evening (from 7 pm to 10.30 pm) and they do not have any seating arrangements. One can order items off the menu and pick up the food parcels or can request home delivery. They provide free delivery to nearby places (in and around Salunke Vihar locality). They also deliver to places a tad out of the way if the orders are above 200-300 rupees. The Mutton Seekh (2 pieces) and the Chicken Pahadi Tikka are priced at Rs 110/- and Rs 70 respectively. Total VFM!Verdict: Good things do come in small sizes. I just wish all my whims turned out as nice as Lyra. ;-)Ambiance: Bola na roadside eatery hai – ambiance chahiye toh kahi aur jaoFood: 4/5 (in regard to the two items tried) Service: Very polite and helpful.
