Autobahn, known for its Indian cuisine, had recently launched their Global Menu. And I got a chance to try it.The ambience of the restaurant is quite interesting. Autobahn means expressway in German. And the concept of serving food is quite similar as the food comes at a speed through conveyor belts.Coming to the food, we tried some dishes which was suggested by them from the new intriguing menu. The menu is nicely curated but there were some missing points. So what we tried :*Veg Quasedilla: Nicely cooked Quasedilla with loads of veggies. It was served with Salsa dip and a chef’s special dip. Pretty good to try*Falafel Platter: This was delicious. Falafel and pita bread with others on the plate was quite good. *Crispy Spinach and Mushroom Crepe: This was a pretty good experimental recipe I can say. I liked the taste but this could be more perfect if made little more spicy.*Chicken Indiana Pizza: I was very impressed by the toppings and all. But the base was dry. *Fish three pepper garlic: The fish was nice and fresh but the flavour of the sauce made the fish lose its flavour as it was very overpowering. So didn’t liked that much.*Pad Gra Prow: Same happened with this dish. The chicken was overpowered with the fish sauce used to cook it. Otherwise it could be a very nice combination to have with rice.*Veg Pesto Pasta: This was a superb dish to have especially for a pasta lover like me. The pasta was nicely cooked. It was cheesy and yummy. *Thai Green Curry: The curry was pretty good with loads of veggies. Can be more better. For sweet dishes, we can’t just stop the cravings for Indian sweets. We had the amazing Rosogullas, Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai.Overall experience was good. But talking about the Global menu, there are misses here and there. Improvements can be made for the same.
Mutton biriyani was lit af. I have ordered sweet and sour whiskey in cocktail, that was super amazing,a must try. I personally loved the food ,it was surely above average.
The restaurant theme and unique ordering process is special. There is moving set of plates which can be picked up at ease if you are super hungry. The moving plates are served hot as well. The food paneer croquettes, fish and gulab jamun was good. Chefs special salad was okay.
Really enjoyed the meal here.Staff was wonderful.
a place with unique concept of presenting food. i liked the food specially for bengali food loversi tried-Chicken biryani- i would not recommend biryani here as it lacked spices and was plane without flavour. not worth the pricechicken kolhapuri- a must try at this place. spicy and nicely blended a signature dish
Ambiance was nice & simple. Concept of ordering food from tablet menu and food coming from Kitchen on conveyor belt to the your table concept is new thing in Pune, it’s main attraction point.Food was good and tasty, service was also good. Cost wise little bit expensive.Only drawback is , they provide only one tablet on table, they should provide atleast hardcopy of multiple menu of they can’t provide multiple tablets on menu when people are more.
Interesting concept – Food served on conveyor belts.Food is average (typical north Indian). Tandoori mushrooms were worth trying. We also found the aloo dum and paneer to be decent.
