This place has a beautiful atmosphere, with a quirky indoor sitting and an open kitchen, the outdoor sitting is a perfect place if the weather is favourable for a great evening. We had some issues with the booking, yet the manager was kind enough to get us settled. The entire team was very courteous.Coming to food, nachos grande – this is a must tryIt has sour cream and guacamole and is very scrumptious.Galouti kebabs – Kebab lovers this is an apt dish to enjoy with some authentic flavours. They serve 5 pieces accompanied by some pita bread and chutney.Juicy Lucy burger – True to its name it is a burger feast . It has lamb meat and is of a huge size ,very delicious as well as filling accompanied by a good amount of potato wedges,so order accordingly. If you are around phoenix mall ,this is a great place to satisfy your hunger pangs.
#DelhiInPune#AGlocalCafe* If the Burgers bewitch you* If the Galawatis grip you* If the Chaats cajole you* If the Pork Chops persuade you* If the Maggi mesmerizes you* If the Tiramisu titillates youCafe Delhi Heights is your calling; Pune’s very own Glocal Cafe, yes Glocal. The endeavor of this beautiful Cafe is to bring you Delhi’s global food print right here at Pune. From Yeti’s Himalayan Thukpa to Fork You’s Burgers to ISBT’s Makhani Maggi to Deep in the Village’s Thin Crust Pizzas to Elma’s Tiramisu to Imperfecto’s Perfect Cocktails, Delhi Heights in itself is no short of the entire HKV (Hauz Khas Village).Sharing my absolute ‘Must Haves’ from this Eat-a-Thon of a Food extravaganza:* Prawns Sukha Chettinaad Masala: Plumpy Prawns slathered with spicy Chettinad Masala, Dry Coconut and loads Kadi Patta.* Juicy Lucy Burger: A 250 Gram Lamb Meat Pounder with Cheese oozing out of it, a sight to behold for all your gasmic fantasies. What’s not there to like about this one. One hell of a Messy Burger !!!*Dilli wali Aloo Tikki Chaat: Dilli aaye aur Chaat nahin khayi toh Kya khaya. This says it all. Incredibly Moreish !!!* Dal Makhani & Mom’ Buttered Chicken Tikka Masala Platters: Again the quintessential Delhi favorites, you will have a major missing if you don’t have them here. Go for them !!!* Banoffee Pie: Dulce de Leche topped with heavy cream and Bananas with oodles of homemade Cinnamon Caramel Sauce. This bowl was like the Marsh Swamp, once you dig in you won’t be able to come out ever. Who would want to, actually !!!The Cocktails here a revelation, boozy and potent with no compromise on taste whatsoever. My absolute favorites were ‘7 Adventure’ (Seven Types of Whiskies with a dash of Red Wine & Cranberry Juice) and the classic Mint Julep (Bourbon with Bitters, Mint and Simple Syrup).Cafe Delhi Heights is rewriting the rules of the game here at Pune, despite located in a Commercial Mall they have managed to create an environment that teleports you straight to the climes and vibes of Uber Delhi. Go try them today, if you haven’t already.Cheers. Ciao !!!
Cafe Delhi Heights – A modern take on any cafe, with notes and resemblance of cafes in Delhi.Cafe is extremely spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It provides a seperate corner for a small group interested in playing games. It provides booths with telivision for smaller groups interested in viewing TV as well. It has an open kitchen and a well stocked bar, which further adds to the beauty their dimension.Food is however, just above average. While dishes like Galouti Kebab, the Herbed grilled prawns and the Juicy Lucy burger are fantastic, other dishes like the chicken makhani, the overly marinated pork belly and the Khow Shey (Which had thin watery gravy, did not come with all condiments and simply put a disaster in itself) need much improvement. But what binds them all together is their absolute top notch service. Polite, spontaneous and on their feet.Cost for two is around Rs 1200/- or more. Value for money is decent.Chow! foodshashtra.wordpress.com
