I have ordered multiple times from this place.I am not very fond of any other biriyani other than bengali style biriyani. But their awadhi biriyani is something I will definitely reorder. I cannot comment on the authenticity of awadhi biriyani recipe, but the use of green chillies and coriander (which u can never find in Kolkata biriyani), gives this biriyani a different taste altogether. And it definitely pleased my taste bud.Their calcutta style fish fry reminds me of my hometown. Serving exactly how it is in Kolkata. Sadly many times it remain unavailable.The most common thing which I reorder from them is their bengali special chicken thali.. It is so affordable and apt in quantity for a single person that when ever I don’t feel like cooking at home, whenever any uninvited guests come all of a sudden, this is what comes in my mind to order.
Awesome food!! Had the authentic Kolkata Biriyani in Pune after a long long time. Most importantly, no food colours are used in the preparations which is why you can have as much as you can without an iota of guilt. The earthen pot in which the Biriyani is served, is a wonderful piece of artefact which you will love to retain!
Good food delivered home. We ordered mostly bengali cuisine with Kolkata biriyani, fish fry, butter chicken and paratha. Came with a great kasundi. Biriyani was a wonderful balance of home cooked yet delicious and came with potato and egg. Fish quality in fish fry was excellent. Butter chicken was good and paratha was soft. Nothing much to say negative about. So overall a great experience. Recommended.
