Been her many times bun muska tea is good. What i like the most here is the Veg thali(regular) the quality and quantity of food you get for ₹70/- is unmatched for me up till now. Everytime I am hungy when i visit Viman nagar that is very I like to eat. Staff is also good and fast.
I have been there for only bread and there Irani chai. Both are good taste wise also the chai was different from the local tea stall.Tried biryani chicken taste was pathatic look like the biryani is like fried rice, chicken is not cooked properly. Keep some neatness in hotel plates and spoon was dirty.
New Uppala is perhaps one of the oldest restaurants on the Pune – Nagar highway at Viman nagar. Although being at one of the busiest roads, this venue is quite visible from a distance. I have been here half-a-dozen times & this place never disappointed me. With a decent ambience Uppala is famous for its taste. Located near the corporate hub in Viman nagar, quite a no. of employees find their lunch spot here.Their veg thalis are the highlights of their menu. The thalis are good in taste & very much pocket friendly (regular thali at Rs. 70). The paranthas they offer (substitute for chapati) are really soft. Plus their buter chicken tastes really good. You can have it with the paratha as well, & you won’t regret the combination. If you’re near Mantri Park in Viman nagar & looking for good meal, on a tight budget. Then this is one really good option.Ratings (out of 5):Food – 4.5Service – 4
Worth for money both quality and quantity were Excellent only loophole is that service is very poor ,staff is very rude ..I think they have to work on their service
Legendary restaurant on the busy Pune-Nagar road. Parking for 4 wheeler is a challenge, though you will get to squeeze the two-wheeler on the designated parking area. We had ordered two Chicken Fry and Mutton Handi with Kerala Parotha and Tandoori Roti. The masala of chicken fry was too good. It wasn’t too spicy and one could taste all the flavours. I’m not into mutton but still tried the gravy and had no complaints. Kerala Paratha and Roti’s were very soft and service was lightening fast (which is the USP of such joints). Jeera rice was served hot (and it also had Jeera :P). Little bottles of cold drinks are available. After the sumptuous lunch, my friends also gulped cups of special tea which was too good. Rs. 600/- for all this for 3 persons is total value for money. I’ll visit it again to check other options as well. Just outside the restaurant, meetha paan is also available.
