Shizusan is Located on the upper ground level at Phoenix market.What all I recommend-Asparagus Tempura Sushi- I have ordered this on all my visits to this place ,it’s the best for vegetarians. #highlyrecommended Veg Kung Pao Bao- the bao was perfect not too soft and had a delicious filling. #highlyrecommended Pulled Chicken Bao- this was good too although I liked the veg bao more. #recommendPoached Chicken Dumpling- superb! #highlyrecommendAlso had a couple of Chinese curries and rice and noodles! All of which tasted really good Overall the preparation and presentation both are given equal importance here and would make them your favourite place after your first visit itself.Follow- slaydoublecheese

One of the best Asian cuisine place I have visited.Place is small but cozy.Had been there for lunch.What we ordered:Mocktails:Lijito: This was a lemon based drink.was a bit spicyThai Thai: very nice drink.Orange juice and kafir lime leaves went really well hand in hand hereFood:Waterchestnut and scullion dimsum: This was recommended by the staff and these were awesome.Beautiful presentation and awsome taste.Chilli garlic noodles: very well prepared.Less oily with garlic and chilli flavours not overpowering.Thai green curry with chicken: Authentic preparation.Well balanced flavoursSticky rice: This was plain Jasmine rice.Portions were big and it was too much food for two people.Staff is courteous and make you comfortable.They helped us select dishes depending upon our taste.Will definitely visit again
It would be an understatement to say that Shizusan is hands down one of our favourites for some Asian indulgence in Pune. Visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon and decided to devour their impeccably delicious Edamame Dumpling which is definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. It’s moist, fresh and so mouth-watering that’ll it’ll be tough for you to contain yourself from ordering for another one. We also tried their Veggie California Roll which again was a complete delight but we will not lie when we say that we have tasted/eaten better Sushi Rolls. However, we suggest you try their Mushroom Sushi – it’ll surely not disappoint you.
Though coz of my little appetite I couldn’t try much of cuisine.But i did went for Baos suggested by the staff with a glass of wine.The staff here was really polite and helpful.And the baos was delicious as well.They were soft and fluffy with the stuffing on point, i added additional Soy sauce for more of tanginess.Worth a visit.
Shizusan does mean hospitality in Japanese and the place justifies it’s name. Staff is very welcoming, well trained and polite. Absolutely loved the outside seating arrangements although it was under maintenance and so we had dinner inside. inside, the ambience is neat and beautiful and of course has Japanese vibes.We ordered two mocktails, loved them both. The food was delicious but you definitely need to have a pallet for Japanese. Overall enjoyed my visit.
Very rarely I have given full stars for an Asian restaurant unless it has the right flavours in the food that they serve. The menu to start with is complete, right from Watermelon Salad, Raw papaya salad to Vegetarian Susie. Their main course food is good and filling as well. We tried a lot of food and didn’t feel the bloating that you can normally get from eating food from Asian Restaurants. The menu is a little pricey, but the quality that they are serving is worth the price. The only let down was the deserts menu. I think they should definitely work on that. Rest its a great place to go and make sure that you make your reservations on the weekend, or else you may have to wait due to the rush.
