Location : ★★★★✩This place is on the main road easy to find and reach .Ambience : ★★★✩✩Nothing really too good about the ambience of the place .Average Interiors .Service : ★✩✩✩✩Staffs are good and Polite. The service was fast but not very responsive . The traffic is too much resulting little degradation in their customer service.Quality of food : ★★★★✩Good quality of food is served , Authentic Odia food is a attraction that is served here.Apart from thali they have single dishes too.I have visited the place with my brother. We have ordered Veg Thali .Later We ordered fish. They take nearly 45minutes to serve. I liked their Dalama preparation.Overall not a really great place but worth a try if you crave for authentic Odia Cuisine.
Been here multiple times. The food is authentic and delicious. I usually order their veg thali/special thali+ rohi macha besara. Besara is to die for. The kheer is amazing. Looking forward to go there again. Go to place for Odia food.
I have been coming here since a long time, earlier food was piping hot, tasty and finger licking, though price is very reasonable but service has degraded completely and qulity of food is soooooo bad I cannot explain. Recently I had some work with my mother near to this place, so for lunch my mom insisted to visit the place once more. I was reluctant but we both went here. I ordered mutton thali, my ordered veg thali and chatu rai. Mutton was cold like hell, It tasted as if they are serving day before wala mutton curry, pices were chwy, I could not eat at all and ordered gobi masala, which was ver oily but nevertheless tasty. My mom could not eat anything from veg thali, totally cold, bland, no taste, and they do not even heat it when asked upon. Chatu rai was good, I am never visiting the place again.
Visit only if you are looking for the authentic Odiya taste at a reasonable price. Dalema is the traditional Odiya Resteraunt in Unit IV. Quite a few resteraunts by the same name. Hard to know which is original but don’t worry the taste and price in all of them is very similar. They have mutton, chicken, fish, prawn, crab and veg thalis which are reasonably priced but quite ordinary. Traditional Odia vegetarian dishes that you can try are dalma, sag bhaja, pumpkin flower bhaja, chenna curry, bidi chura and khiri
Went there on a saraswati puja. as it was saraswati puja, mutton wasnt available.. 🙁 We took rohu fish curry and plain steamed rice. Rohu fish curry was not at all good. There was a single small piece of fish. Gravy was tasteless. Ambiance was average..staffs were good.Naa, I will not visit again..
Am assuming that this place is the one located in the basement of the Aakash Institute/Paris Bakery Building – Unit 4. Called Dalema.. Recommended food here:Non veg thali – mutton – 2.5/5Mutton curry – 3/5Mutton patrapoda – 3/5Chicken curry – 2.5/5Fish besara – 3/5Pohala fish curry – 2.5/5Just order something from the above, and have it with rotis or rice (your choice of #deathbycarbs). The place is quite busy during the lunch hours cos of the office crowd nearby .. So, you might want to time your visit. You can go into a relatively empty restaurant between 12:00-12:45.
A small restaurant with very reasonable menu. The food here is simple and homely. So its a good choice for people who miss their home cooked food. I had dahi pakhala a few days ago. The fish was also fresh. Not the best odia food, but definitely a good one.
