Yesterday I have just visit the place to get some bakery stuffs for my family. Seriously the place is quite small but they actually serves a rich cocoa products which is quite impressive. I will definitely go again for a small breakfast. And thanks to serve is better. “ so far so good “
I went there as it was raining outside. It’s a small cozy place with two tables. Had a limited menu of bakery and have a varieties of ice creams. Located near to the railway station Rum balls is the star item of this place. We have ordered two rum balls and found it to be very sweet.
Though i like this place very much specially the cold coffee. But dont’t understand the fanda of Management tax over zubi lollipop on which MRP is rs 30 which itself means inclusive of all taxes( pic attached) but they billed for Rs 50( bill attached) stating its management tax. Please make me understand this tax.
A decent place to catch a break. The interior is pretty. Their pastries and muffins are good, especially vanilla muffin and mud-pie cake. One bizarre thing was that they put orange essence in choco lava cake. It didn’t taste well at all therefore.
I was looking for a cake shop for my daughter’s second year birthday and found about this cake shop from the internet. But after reaching there I was deeply disappointed for 1) There is no signage / board about the outlet, may be the shop is too popular or they think people will find them some way like I did using map; 2) The staff are least bothered about giving information, may be they are poorly paid or require some grooming. As they said first impression lasts long; I didn’t want to spoil the party with some poorly served cake. So left the shop with a sour taste. Hope the promoters take this feedback positively to improve upon service.
Even though I have always loved the cosy decor of the place the food has failed to live up to the standards. It was evening. We ordered two coffees and a vegetarian burger and a chicken roll. The beverage had to be made but these just had to be warmed. Order should be on first cum first serve basis. There was only person manning the counter and his preference was serving people who were ordering takeaways. We were made to wait for more than 15 minutes for our order. And the food came first and after we had polished it off, about half an hour later came the coffees. And my friend had ordered a chicken roll because she really wanted to eat some chicken. Alas there was no chicken to be found in her roll and she said that repeatedly that it was a veg roll they had served mistakenly. But the waiter only understood not when my friend ordered for a Chicken Pizza but when it was time for the bill. He then asked if we wanted something else to replace it. I guess it was a mere formality because he asked her if he should bill for a chicken roll or veg roll which caused me to roll my eyes (inwardly). My friend was really cool about the entire thing but in her place I wouldn’t have been so patient. If you are in a hurry or very hungry this place should be avoided. Unless of course you have a lot of time on your hands and have experience dealing with hunger pangs. The truth is really bitter and I had to say this after repeated less than average experiences setting nostalgia aside.
A good pastry place and what I love about this place is the ambience. I have had the pineapple pastry, dark chocolate pastry and the brownie with vanilla icecream. I also tried the black forest pastry which I totally didn’t like. Otherwise, the rest are pretty average. Nothing exceptional.
