Lunch at my college is mostly synonymous with simple comfort food, for me. And there are few branded joints in the city who actually serves ghar ka khana at a reasonable price that you can have everyday. Lotus Restaurant is one such place. It’s a no frill outlet where you can quickly have your meal and leave, not really a fancy cafe or eating house but it is just perfect to serve the purpose it’s meant for.The food is not heavy or over oily and can be termed as soul food, something which will not be heavy on your digestive system. Also, the quantity they serve is perfect or rather recommended for an adult to have for a meal. Their meals and combos are perfect for working professionals with amazing no spill packaging.Here every curry basically comes with Steamed Rice so that you can get a nice filling meal for 100 bucks. You can also customise your meal and go for options like Curry with Jeera Rice, Lemon Rice, Biryani Rice and so on. I loved their Chicken Muglai combo that comes with Jeera Rice, Dal, Raita, Papad and some Chips. This is pretty filling, simple, non soggy and pocket friendly. Also, I loved the Steamed Rice with Dal Makhani and the flavourful Paneer Tikka Masala. The Veg Dopiaza was nice, but I would prefer the Paneer dish over this Veg Dopiaza. But you have to keep in mind this is somewhat a food joint that is your necessity, for your everyday meal. It’s not a place for your date night or a hang out zone with friends.So, if you are looking for a not too rich, filling meal without burning a hole in your pocket, try this place out, you won’t regret.Cheers .

Very rude behavior by the owner. Ask him a simple think y u put patoto in all dishes, he react like I am asking my meal to be free. Very disappointed on my meal, in the Thali out of 5 items 4 of them only Potato.
Guys this is a outstanding place to have lunch and dinner with so much tasty food. The cost is very pocket friendly. You should taste the mixed veg here it is awesome.
nice place. good food. good service. we ordered 2 zeera rice, 1 dal, 1 chicken hydrabadi. The bill was 260 only. And also, now the are accepting card.
If you are not in a state where you can spend a lot if money, you can go over to this place. This place offers quite a good amount of foods for a very reasonable rate. You will never regret going here. The Kadai dishes are really good.The mutton curry and the chili gobi were ok bt not so tasty. Should definitely try this place.
