This place is famous for its biryani. You can see the crowd always. What I recommend you is best for takeaway not for dine in.My picks among their menu were Mutton Biryani, Grilled chicken, Chicken Tikka and Hariyali chicken.And also they remain little inconsistent about their taste, so good luck on that. But according to me it was always good, but just sharing on my friends experience.

Chicken biryani is very good even at 8.30pm biryani is hot with leg piece and Brinjal masala and raitha speedy delivery spacious car parking
Had dinner from here, ordered Grilled chicken, chicken dum Biryani, chicken chettinad and parantha. The taste and quantity was good, satisfied. Quantity for price was also good. Will visit this place once again. The staff was nice too. Cheap place with moderate ambience and good service.
Before the Write-up, I first want to specify that the person who received my delivery order call was extremely helpful and sent the food through someone. I truly appreciate that. If I have to rate them only for that, it’ll be full marks. But, food wise there was disappointments. It wasn’t freshly made. The Order was placed at 7 PM, so no excuse to serve old stock. The Mutton Biryani was tastewise pretty good. But, not fresh, which is not what I expected. Same applies to the accompaniment of Brinjal Chops and Raita. The Mutton Sukka was bad news. It had a foul smell so, none of us touched it. For sure, old stock and almost in the verge of being spoilt.The Chicken Tikka was absolutely lip smacking. This one was freshly made. But the accompaniment of Mint Chutney looked like it was drenched in artificial Green Colour. There’s not going to be a next time at Akbar Biryani Pointe when at Pondicherry. Skip!
Located on Pondy – Villupuram road. Ambience is not good. Though they aren’t many chicken on the grill, we ordered for half grilled chicken as take away. Staff were very confused, would have mismatched the order with someone else’s order. Grilled Chicken was stale. A very very bad experience.Ambience: N/AService: N/AFood: 1/5
