I was not fortunate enough to visit this place on a buffet day. However, liked the place. Ambiance and service was quite good. Food quality can still be improved. Very basic food menu, didn’t find anything special. Chicken Biriyani was good. Serving time needs to be lesser than current standard.

Went for non veg buffet. I did believe they could serve such a great food. Very crispy menu and overall taste was awesome. I can say this is the best mutton biriyani cooked in seeraga samba rice. It was awesome. Their buffet include mutton soup which had enough peices. Great surprice is they served sea fish local name adhil fish which is equivalent to koduva fish. It was excellent. Usally in any buffet they serve farm fish which is cheap and tasteless. Superb chicken gravy and the list goes on. Great experience. Thumbs up for your team

So after travelling for 6 hrs to Pondicherry,we stopped by this restaurant to fill our empty stomach and to my amazement the food was really bad. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, chicken chettinad gravy ,veg fried rice and Kung pao chicken gravy.Biryani was nothing like biryani, chicken chettinad was stale and the taste was horrible. One saviour was just Kung pao chicken dry( we asked for gravy but after serving us they realized they don’t have Kung pao gravy) so by accident we had something to satisfy our taste bud.Service can be better too.Try to maintain your food standard.

Sunday buffet – it was around 550-600 for Non veg. The spread was good. I didnt take a look at the veg at al, bcaz i was fasting for past 20 days frm eating non veg and my attention was completely on the non veg. Starting with soup, mutton soup was good, the pieces were so soft n juicy. Starters – disnt like the fish fry much, egg fry was the usual one, I loved the Egg pasta they had. Mutton biryani was just ok types. Pulov was decent. Chicken gravy was really spicy and really nice. . Desserts were pretty decent with a cake, ice cream, apple pie, rasagulla, cashew diamond, caramel custard was really tasty. A decent place though ,can go once.

We, a group of six people went to have buffet at around 3 pm on a Sunday while returning from a trip. Greeted by great interiors, we were disappointed by the non veg buffet menu. Had only one gravy item(chicken sukka curry) and for starters were Seer fish fry and masala omelette. Then were three veg starters and daal. To show more no of items there were 5 types of salad ( round, tossed, kuchumer, Mexican and chicken). There were two rice items which I couldn’t taste so cannot review. Each item tasted ordinary, really nothing special for such a reputed hotel. And to add our misery, they informed that buffet has to close by 3.30 so they asked to fill our plates as quickly as possible. Also refills for soup and fish fry came late.. Dessert consists of jusbus, coconut balls, carrot halwa( simply amazing), fruit salad and ice cream.. Priced at 500₹ per head, they could have made it much more better.Barani Baskaran
