The biriyanis are of a chettinad (?) style in that it was quite spicy. The prawn fry that we had did not have an adequate serving, though one serving of biriyani is adequate for a single person.

This is the place to try local state food, called Chettinad, as suggested by our driver. Gets in a good crowd, some visitors. and rightly so, with large menu and some good vegetarian as well as other dishes on offer.
The quality of food was good. It is spicy and more for South Indian palate. The chicken and fish dishes are good here. However, it lacks in terms of service presentation. This area could be an area for improvement.
