.For my taste the bhel poori had so much garlic in it that I couldn’t taste any other flavour, usually I much prefer the tamarind flavour to stand out in chaats.The benches are not the most comfortable to eat at the table.I have had better in other places in Pondicherry.
We placed an order through Swiggy. They gave us a wrong order. On complaining to the restaurant, the owners were too rude and didn’t accept their mistake. Instead they accused us of placing incorrect order.Also the food is not worth the price u pay.The paneer was so hard and wasn’t freshly prepared.Highly unprofessional!

If you are on trip at Pondicherry you are a vegetarian then Bhatt’s kitchen is the best option for you. It has a cute ambience with limited staff but very good service. The owner is a Gujarati person from Mumbai who knows more than 1 languages. We went there 2 times for dinner and then for a lunch. We tried tawa pulao , Pavbhaji and dal rice there. And I must say the food is amazing. The food is simple , there service is so fast. I love the way they serve water in stainless steel glass which gives you feel at home. Food tastes awesome and they keep it less oily that is the main point to visit it. Must try if you ever get chance to visit Pondicherry. It is in heritage town. amdawadichidiya.wordpress.com
If you want homely food in white town and ofcourse the north Indian cuisine this is the place. Pocket friendly and the owner is delightful to talk to. Must visit. Tip: Owner makes amazing Chai.
