For lunch i visted this place, and regret the fact that i havent been here before, if you are in pondicherry and seafood lover you cant afford to miss this restaurant.Absolutely delightful food, courteous staff, and yummy freah catch.They have this really cute ship decorations on wall and deco latern hanging giving you sea vibe. Lets talk about food.For starters :we ordered butter garlic prawns, which was cooked to perfection and sauce was too perfect.Main course : i had lobster grilled in costal spices2. Red snapper pan seared in butter garlic sauce3. Mahi mahi in pesto sauce.All dishes were seemed to cooked with not just skills but with lot of love and warmth, because they were like a dream. The hotel on its blavk board have fresh catch written, we can select way of cooking and sauce in whicj we want preparation and they also show you fish and then weigh it. Price is determined on the basis of weight. Highly recommended for seafood lovers
This restaurant is the go to restaurant if you crave for sea food. You can select your own pomfret, crab from the day’s fresh catch and also they have live lobsters to choose from. We chose our pomfret, ordered a sea food platter, squid masala with naan and prawns fried rice. The pomfret was well marinated and cooked and tasted delicious. The lobster tail in the sea food platter was delicious and squid masala was a spicy dish. Prawns fried rice had egg also in it. Overall a very good choice for sea food lovers. Lobster is their speciality and worth trying. Staff is courteous and welcoming. A must visit sea food restaurant in the centre of Pondicherry.
We were damn hungry and was searching for a good seafood restaurant. Luckily we came across this through our Zomato search and ended up a good satisfying lunch. Though we didn’t found any private area for lunch. It was quite open and common. Not even any Live music were played. Zomato needs to modify the information provided.Anyway it was full and we got our table after a wait of 15minutes. Service was delayed but that’s ok,can understand the pressure.We started with ▪️ Seafood noodles. Average tasted and quantity was okay.▪️ Seafood fried rice. Which was also average in taste.▪️ Chicken cheese stuffed. A continental preparation which was just awesome in taste. Delicious!!!▪️ Naan. It was alright. Served hot.▪️ Chicken lababdar. It was nice. The gravy was good to eat with naan.Too much of food we had and everything was okay. Reasonable restaurant in a prime location.
