After our morning trip to Auroville we were tired and hungry enough. We were roaming around in search of restaurant and suddenly saw this though I read it’s review in zomato before. So stopped and went inside. It was 3.30 pm and too late for lunch. We hurriedly ordered for one chicken noodles and with that chilli chicken. Lastly we ordered for a continental dish. Something named as chicken pie.The hotel was spacious with many sitting arrangements. Even the waiters were properly dressed. The service was also quick. We didn’t waited for long. The foods were nicely cooked. Tasty it was. I was waiting for the continental and that too came out nicely and just made us full. Chicken pieces chopped nicely cooked with capsicum and spices and from top baked with mashed potato and cheese. The smell from it was yummy! The price won’t pinch u much.

Our trip to Chennai and Pondy was jinxed right from the beginning…. But in all the mess we found solace in Pondicherry Executive Inn, Food Fun Restaurant! Our room included buffet breakfast meals, which were very good based on south indian food standards. Do not miss the sevai and Medu Wada at PEI. Restaurant Manager was really nice. This lovely hotel is run by an efficient set of staff that is impressive in their work and diligent.

This restaurant is in Executive Inn hotel, very much near to Rock beach. I liked the ambiance as well as food. I ordered Chinese and north Indian dishes both were upto the mark.. Specially North Indian food was best to have here. Prices are reasonable and quantity is quite overwhelming. Another must visit restaurant in Pondicherry.

Basement, great ambience and excellent flavours. The masala fried prawns were tender and juicy . the dragon chicken was well balanced on spices and lemon. The biryani was good but the continental dishes we way par expectations . the chicken sizzler is a must try . A good place for both vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies .

Very delicious food. Do try their Masala Prawns and Spicy Rava Fish. The ambience is great for a family lunch and the staff is very attentive. Superb place for sea food.

Went to this place after going through the review on zomato and also because it was nearby. Really nice food.We were looking for north Indian food in pondy and ordered karaai paneer and karaai veg. Both had similar gravy though expected but the taste was really good. I specifically liked the taste of tomato puree used in the gravy.Don’t forget to order butter fulka. It was awesumly. Veg kulcha also was very nice.We ordered biryani as well. Yummy one.Rating 4.0+ coz the service was really slow.

During my stay in Executive Inn – Pondicherry, my only immediate and easy choice was to walk downstairs to the basement for food. Given that I used to take a taste of their culinary style every morning for breakfast as it came with the room booking, I was quite impressed with the no-nonsense operational model with some real good taste. So, occasionally I took the stairs down to the basement for a bite or have it ordered to my room. Either way, I loved the taste of the food and it became my last resort whenever I wasn’t sure what to eat and where to?The restaurant as such is very minimally laid down which includes a small mezzanine with 4-6 tables. It isn’t well ventilated neither is it suffocating. Lightning is taken care by bulbs. Not much of natural light breaks in.Bearers are really courteous and full marks to the owner for keeping this place the way it is.. Walls are covered with beautiful murals that depict scenes from a typical Rajasthani backdrop.Order soups or appetisers or salads or tandoor, you’re gonna love them for sure.Given the reasonable price point, it wouldn’t burn a hole in your pocket if you dined here.Don’t go there for the ambience since there isn’t much in the offering except the hand-painted murals, but go there for some yummylicious food.Bon appétit
