Ordered kuli paniyaram,veg puff and masala milk.Their kuli paniyaram is one of the best that i have ever had.It is served with a spicy chutney.Their puff was very very bland.Masala milk was okayish.
I stayed in White Town, Pondicherry for 2 days and both days, I concluded my wanderings on Promenade beach. This ‘Kafi Barr’ is right next to Promenade beach. It opens early, closed late, in short – it’s every traveller’s dream. I used to take Badam Milk from here and sit on Promenade. Sipping this Badan Milk in such surroundings, you can feel something heal inside you. I followed this ritual both days, and will do the same the next time I visit Pondicherry. Only thing I didn’t like was the communication gap. These people, especially the elder ladies, only understand Tamil. If you don’t want sugar in your milk, or less sugar in your milk, *they are heavy handed on it*, making them understand it becomes a nightmare.
We had our early morning filter coffee here after having a stroll on Rock beach. It’s a small stall near beach which serves strong filter coffee and south Indian snacks like appam. Can try this for sure when you visit this beach to watch sunrise.
Pondicherry’s famous budget coffee shop situated in a well known street junction.Parking is only for bikes and cars has to stop in near by streets (not recommended, still…).This one is a standout among other street side coffee shops. Very neat and orthodox.Coffee’s taste stays for a while and makes you think “Mission accomplished”. Special mention about their Onion Bajji, wondering how they manage to get the size. Comes with “Getti” chutney, makes a perfect combo.When digging in deep, found them to be a big joint having dedicated webpage and chain of cafes. We found this place to be little crowded alongside rock beach and wanted to find what was going on there.And we found badam Milk to be trending here.So we ordered badam milks and it was pretty good, but couldn’t get why so much of hype though.
