Food was tasty but not Chinese or Vietnamese as they label themselves to be. The chilly beef in particular had a very South Indian flavour. And rice was less than in the order.Delivery from swiggy less than 1km away spilled the food. So careful about ordering for delivery
We a group of 10 at 3pm were struggling to find send good food in Pondicherry, some body suggested this place, and having any options left, we agreed to dine here. From noodles to rice, from Chinese gravies to starters we ordered everything and were surprised to have a happy meal with pleasant service. The ambience is also quite good .
The menu here is absolutely amazing. Though, I can assure you that you may try anything in the menu with confidence, my first suggestion would be to try the beef steak (₹189). American Chopsey (₹279) comes with prawn, chicken, egg and will ensure that you have your proteins and also that your tummy is full(also contentment). I would be updating about other must-try’s of this place right here. But please do comment or message if you did try the suggestions.
I was so excited to try another new cusine but it ended as complete disappointment. Expect for thier soup nothing is recommendable. All the food i have ordered from the chio to the beef and chicken steak is recommended by them self still it wasn’t near to okay. It was sooo soo so oily. And the sauce wasn’t appetising either. Fries were so soggy. Onions were only thing fresh in the plate i suppose. service can be better. Peace & love.
This place is sooo good for Vietnamese Food. We had the Chaiyo and Chicken saute for starters. And Chicken noodles for the main course.Chaiyo was very crispy and good and served as a good starter. They served it with the authentic fish sauce. Next, the Chicken saute was smooth and soft. Noodles was also amazing.E.Gobi was our waiter and he was so patient and did a good job. The ambinece was okayish. Nothing extraordinary about that. But worth the money. Hence 5 star.
Beautifully Quaint Restaurant situated on H.M Kassim Salai right Opposite Cool Cats Cafe. It’s prime location attracts alot of attention from the nearby Nehru Street. The towering model of the Eiffel Tower also cannot be missed, making this small but accommodating place stand out.Ambience: Decorated in a Neutral Blue hue, the restaurant brings a sense of calm and quiet. The menu, simple and appealing.Service: The Service is Fantastic, with the waiter quick to serve you and courteous of your requests. The restaurant does not charge Service Charge, so it is in good taste to tip!Food: As I was in a hurry, I had opted for the Noodle Soup (Chicken). What must be noticed, is that even as there is a minimal number of items on the menu, they make up for the variety of Flavours from Vegetarian to Beef. This makes for an excellent array of choices. The Noodle Soup (125 inclusive of Taxes) was excellent, with plenty shredded cabbage, flavourful stock, roasted chicken pieces, green onions, ginger and garlic. The noodles were well cooked and the quantity is sufficient to serve two people satisfyingly.Overall, The Paris Restaurant is very often overlooked and is quite a hidden gem in the bustling middle of Pondicherry. Know for their Franco Vietnamese cuisine, it is a place that must not be missed.
