Got a customised cake for my wedding day and they had designed the cake so well more than what we expected and at a very reasonable price. Just showed the shop keeper a model picture and he had just recreated it beautifully. Enquired many places but no one had the multi layering plates for the cake. Thankfully found this place last minute. This is not like an ordinary bakery, they do not have any pre made cakes. You have to order atleast a day or two before.

Purchased a birthday cake from this place. We showed a reference picture from the internet and they made it almost 90 percent close to the reference we had given. The cake was 3kg with 2 layers. We had an option to chose different flavors in each layer. Taste was yummy. The cake definitely stole the show. Best part is the price. It’s very very reasonable for the output. On a side note, we ordered the same cake from Hot Breads. They were confidently saying that they can while we placed the order. Couple of hours later we started receiving calls saying that they cannot almost produce even 50 percent close to what we were looking for. The charge was more than twice that was charged in Sugarlips.
Tucked in a tiny corner of the very busy Mission Street. It’s a newly opened bakery.We went and tried their red velvet pastries and chocolate tart.The red velvet was soft but didn’t taste good. The chocolate tart was hard. Every thing comes for Rs.50.
A tiny bakery tucked into the sides of Mission Street, Sugar Lips is a wonderful bakery which gives quite the spread when it comes to cakes for almost any occasion. They mainly specialize in making themed cakes which are priced north of 750. You’ll have to order at least a day or two in advance. Trust me folks, the wait is worth it. They also take in special requests and personalized orders.At the bakery itself they only have a few slices on display for immediate consumption. If you’re lucky you can get their best one, The Red Velvet. Each piece is priced at 70. Lovely moist cake packed with flavor.Verdict – Birthdays, Anniversaries, whatever the occasion. If you’re willing to splurge a little bit, order a cake from Sugar Lips. They are sublime.
