It’s the name of this restaurant which made me curious to visit this place.!Though a small outlet it was neat and well lit.!Cream of mushroom soup made sure we had an excellent start.!In starters Mutton kheema balls are big letdown, though prawn tawa fry saved the day.Biryani is palatable, nothing great about it but the gravy with biryani was the X factor.!Overall it’s an average experience.!
We came across this place while walking on the road to Auroville beach so decided to go just because it served biryani which is apparent from the name itself.Though it looks like a biryani place, the biryani menu is quite limited. But you’ll get other types of delicacies as well. So no worries there.We ordered the Egg biryani as other biryani dishes were not available. It was late at night. But I loved the biryani. Full marks for that. I would definitely come here again next time I’m in Pondicherry.The ambiance is great as well. We had sat in the AC room. Cleanliness deserves an applause.Overall, it was a 3.8/5.
This is the best biriyani that i have ever had.this is a must try hotel with its food consisting of excellect blend of flavour and spice .totally this hotel has the best chetinad cuisine in whole of pondicherry
I am giving it four star for the chicken gravy (kerala style) and kerala parotta. For the biriyani I would give it only 3. The biriyani looked and tasted more like rice and left over gravy mixed together. Please make authentic biriyani the way it should be made considering you’ve named you’re restaurant biriyani villas. Ambience is good. Service is also decent.
