  Had a amazing Sunday lunch at @1ruesuffren1. Cottage cheese steak served with cranberry sauce2. Chilli Cheese Poppers3. Pesto Pasta4. Veg Pulao5. Mocktails- Blue Lagoon and PY10The steak and the sauce was the highlight of the meal. PY10 was a really refreshing litchi and rose based mocktail.The ambience of this huge place had old world french vibes.The cottage cheese steak was tasting very good with the favors of the cranberry sauce.

  A very nice and a cozy place to chill with your friends.We ordered Chinese chilli chicken and Alfredo pasta. The food here is very good. The ambience and interiors is just perfect. The staff here, Ms Reena, she is so friendly and help you to choose and recommend you dishes.Would definitely visit this place again! 🙂

  One of the best places which I visited in Pondicherry after seeing the reviews at the last moment. Loved everything we ordered. Blue ruffian – the only drink which I didn’t like so much coz of certain flavour in it and the drink was mild. Hara bhara kabab – was yummy with green chutneyPhulka with aloo gobi – this was good tooRed sauce pasta – this was the bestest dish which I tasted and my son liked it too. It was spicy and just like Italian pasta Ambience is again a French colonial architecture building. The price does make a hole in your pocket

  Today, while looking for a dinning place I came to know that today is a dry day and lot of good cafe and pub are closed and after knowing this and hunting for a good restaurant and landed up this place and I wasn’t sure how it gonna be but I must say they took care of us.Grilled fish, was properly grilled little smoky flavour and sides with veggies and green leaves make it enough for a person and after having thatI knew We’re at good place.But (a BIG BUT) when I had chef’s speical curry which had both prawn and chicken my mind was blown and this act was done by Chef Nimai. I’m a fuzzy eater and easily don’t like anything but this was different.Lastly, I would like thank to staff, Rheena, who kept checking and took good care of us.

  Excellent Service Excellent Ambience Excellent food. Very happy with this restaurant. Wasn’t hungry so didn’t try heavy food but whatever I have tried I must say it was so damn good. Definitely recommending this for brunch lunch even for dinner.Staff was good and friendly , restaurant was very clean and quiet. Spent a really good time do even if you are coming with family or friends this place is worth visiting.They have lot of amazing options in food both veg and non veg are available.one can enjoy their drink a great conversation with amazingly tasty food.

  Entrance is very beautiful and lighting is superb. Ambience is amazing.I wanted to eat lamb Bolognese but was not available. So orderedPrawns Chowder 4/5Fish varuval 4/5Chicken pasta in pink sauce 4/5Chicken stroganoff 3/5All the dishes were delicious.Service 4/5Ambience 5/5

  Located right opposite on a street from Le Cafe, 1 Rue Suffren has a brilliant palate, is well-spread out and has a wide array of drinks. Bring pondy, they don’t charge taxes on drinks which makes their rates all the more enviable. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken stroganoff and the staff was courteous and prompt as well. Definitely coming back asap!
