The place lived upto its name. The food was lovely. I was yearning to try the chocolate croissant and yes, it was damn good. The chicken olive quiche was good too. Loved the stuffing. The whole grain chicken sandwich was heavy. Eat one and you might not want to have any meal for few hours. Same goes for the chicken burger too. Filling and worth the money. The Rhum soaked plum was tasty but it was not too sweet which is good. The cappuccino on the other hand was not good. It was more of froth and water and less coffee.Food : 4/5Hygiene : 3/5Location : 3/5Overall the experience was good and worth the money.
Baker street is q good option for breakfast and evening snacks, the quality of food served is good. it’s quite expensive but the ambience and taste of food overpowers. We ordered banana cake, chocolate croissant, pita bread sandwich, coffee, lasagne.
One of the best places to have breakfast and bakery items in Pondicherry, hands down. They make excellent savory and sweet breakfast munchies, most of them are french or french inspired in origin. Every single item tastes nice, because they are freshly made and freshly served.Do go in early morning-ish, around 7.30, to get the stuff fresh out of the oven. Also things to get very crowded and chaotic a little later.I’ve tasted the Croissant, Veg Pita Sandwich, Chocolate Escargot, Chicken Tandoori Sandwich, Mini Bacon Puffs and Quiches, Latte and Black Coffee. No complaints whatsoever. Although, things are a bit expensive. They also sell delicious pastries, cakes and packaged jam/delicacies from Auroville. Recommended if you want to indulge in a hearty frech-ish breakfast. two-together.com
