It’s a nice restaurant with good non veg variety of starters.the taste of starters is good.gravies are of average taste.do go for dining n not for buffet.the price for dining is decent.you may not find good taste in buffet.
Complimentary breakfast as I was staying there for a night in pondicherry. South Indian variety is good. Pongal was my favorite. Food is also decent. However my main qualms would be the ambience. Too dark and gaudy and heavy for a breakfast in pondicherry to be honest. Ramp that up and you will definitely see a lot of people coming through that door.
On a recent visit to Pondy, we stayed at this hotel. It is located right near the main bus stand. Usually, the hotels surrounding the bus stands would be mediocre. But this place was pretty good. Clean and prompt service, is what I did not expect, but they did just that. Few of us had lunch on the first day and all of us had breakfast the next day morning. The breakfast, as is the common practice, was complimentary. It was the usual south Indian fare with few North Indian items like paratha thrown in. But the coffee tasted splendid. Due to time constraints, I could not take any pics. The lunch was also a mix of South Indian and North Indian. The veg buffet costs Rs 125/-. All of them had veg buffet, while few of us ventured out. But just out of curiosity I asked them about non-veg buffet. But unfortunately they did not have non-veg buffet for lunch. It was only for dinner. So turns out the difference between non-veg buffet and the veg buffet was just one chicken gravy. Which did not impress the non-veg gang. So accordingly we planned to eat dinner somewhere else. Overall, Veg buffet was quite okay for the price you pay. The breakfast was decent too.
