Food with a View,This is my first trip to Pondicherry and while going though the options came across this Gem. Escape In located bang on the Beach offers stunning views while their food tickles your taste buds. We ordered for Starters Garlic and Basil Prawn along with Lime Mint Coolers. For Main Course we ordered Ginger and Honey Glazed Mahi Mahi and Grilled Fish in Lemon Sauce. All the dishes were excellent.

Please do visit this restaurant when you are visiting Pondicherry. Keep in mind to go for lunch so that the view can be enjoyed. The best view of the rock beach along with some lovely food is going to make your day.We had ordered a Chilli Fish for the starter and it was damn good. Not too hot for the taste buds which was pleasant enough. Then for the main course we had ordered a Jira rice, prawn masala, dal fry, tandoori roti and lemon soda for the refreshment. The prawn masala was a bit spicy and hot but the taste was awesome and have it with rice to get a better taste. The dal fry was also very good.Food : 5/5Hygiene : 5/5Location : 5/5
This cafe is extremely beautiful with sea view. The quality of North Indian food served by them is whole pondicherry. we ordered prawn masala, naan, paneer lababdar, jeera rice, dal fry, salad and paneer tikka. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was also very fast apart from that staffs were very polite and had a great time
This place is located right opposite to Promenade beach and offers a great view of the beach. It has both outdoor and indoor seating. We were lucky to get the outdoor seating with amazing view and cool breeze. Tried Spanish omelette which is basically a stuffed omelette but it looks more like a pizza. It was bit bland may be because of too much potato stuffing. Service was good. Staff was courteous. Must visit place for beachside view.
Decent place. Not much on ambience. Quick service though. We had masala papad which was good. Dahi kebab were not good. Kadai paneer was decent. In chapatis we tried Hari Mirchi roti, naan and garlic naan, which were all good.
