We had ordered a chicken biryani, a fish biryani, one fried rice and one paneer masala. The quantity and quality of food was really great. I loved the fish biryani. But the only downside was that they did not serve any roti items, there were only rice items present, and also a lot of things mentioned in menu were not present at the lunch time. And hence only 4 stars. But I would still suggest this to people who like rice items.
We had wanted to try out the Kamatchi restaurant for its lovely thalis served on banana leaf but as son wanted chapati so ended up here. He enjoyed his Chicken curry with chapathi and the chapathi here is a cross between roti and parantha, the size of a pizza. For us it was the fish thali which you can see in the pictures was a treat. Comprising of a vegetable, rasam, three gravies- each one being fish gravy, mutton gravy and chicken gravy, buttermilk, a big piece of fried fish and ample rice for two. On another evening my son dragged us here to have the barbequed chicken, fish curry and parotha which were all delicious. I would recommend this place to taste the local Chettinad fare in under 500 rupees.

Love the biryani here! They serve rice with the biryani curry, masala and raita all separate. Flavour is great. Staff is polite and service is good. We also tried the grilled chicken, that’s like tandoori chicken, it was cooked with the skin, taste was good but the dip served with it was too sour. Loved the place overall.
