Ended up in this Cafe because we came across a menu on Zomato with a full English breakfast. To our dismay, the guy at the counter informed us that it was an old menu. Nevertheless, we had to order since we were absolutely starving. We ordered a masala tea, coffee, a crazy chicken burger and a paris monsieur croque sandwich with egg. The food was delicious and the ambience was nice with lots of French touches here and there. Service was a bit slow.
Easily spottable Italian cafe with a great ambience and superb decor. Very nice place to hang out in peace as they were playing very soft music. Though varieties of food is less but taste and quantity are worth of the price. We tried Shiny tomato chicken pasta and Tartines (Le Paris To Pondy) Both the dishes were very tasty. Looks interesting when u enter. Pleasant decor, spacious and clean looking. Service is sad. Food is nothing to write home about. We ordered two pastas.. the person took the order and then five to six minutes later he came back to say they only have enough pasta for one. A Chinese menu board on placed in restaurant but we were told its only for ‘decor’. My colleague ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which apparently fared better than the rest of what we had ordered. We also ordered fries that looked they had just been brought out of ICU. Pasta was indianised enough to make any true Italian food lover attempt suicide. Dine if u r unbearably hungry or if there’s a gun to your head.
This could be the worst place for anything.. so here it goes.. everything is under cooked i think that’s their forte.. unhygienic, tasteless and yes they are going to charge you for this. Never visit this place or i would say not even think about it.

Its a beautiful sea faced cafe. You will find near rock beach in white town. It is open for 24 hours. It has a wide beautiful ambience with wooden as well as normal sitting also. If you want to try a nice french breakfast you must have to visit this place. You can also find good Indian food dishes there. Brownies and cakes are another special thing to try at le cafe. A great experience to have food by the promenade sea shore. Sipping coffee with cool sea breeze and the roaring sound of the waves of the bay of bengal is something that one cannot miss. The breakfast opens up earlt at 6am, so after a nice morning walk along the beach having bfast by the sea is so relaxing. This place also served the authentic wood fired pizza that is great in taste and not to miss at all. This cafe is a also one of the antient historic buildings once a part of french colony as well.Guys if in Pondy ever this place is a must visit at the promenade beach.Cheers Rakshita Nath
