A friendly bar and the food looked good though we were full from the dinner we’d had upstairs at Bay of Buddha. The night we’d gone there was a Bangalore DJ playing some good music, so this looks like the place to go for the nightlife in Pondicherry. The reason I’m not rating this place any higher is because the bartenders at the bar took forever to serve us for no apparent reason, even when all we were asking for was bottled Budweiser, which we chose in order to make it quick empathising with their busy night, which they just had to open in a second, they’d ignore us trying to get their attention and look towards (probably) locals they knew and get them their fresh orders which were more complicated cocktails. We wasted a lot of time at the bar doing this.
Located in Promenade , this is the ultimate place to relax and enjoy your drink. The bar is awesome and staff is very friendly and professional. Price is very down to earth and ambience is nice . Their collection of whiskey is also good and they have lot of variety in it.
This place is located at the Promenade. The snacks and the drinks were good and the staff was friendly too. Strawberry kiwi mojito and orange basil mojito are a must try for cocktail lovers.
The ambiance is good. By the beach technically across the road the outside sitting makes it perfect to chill with friends and grab a few beers! The food tastes average. The service of the staff however is a little disturbing. Atleast for us it was clumpsy. Two people would come to take the same order but for half hour we didn’t receive the beers or food. The staff as such is generous. Over all a nice place to relax. The chicken drumsticks are a must try!
In this restaurant food is better with beachfront view. Nice place to visit and relax with variety of dishes and alcohol. Pleasant place with cool breeze. As this has a rooftop, book your table for dinner which would be rather ideal to enjoy the evening. This restaurant serves authentic oriental and Mediterranean cuisines.
This is one of the bars at The Promenade and is a superb one. It has an outdoor seating as well and a pool next to it. Great part was they had no issues with us taking our drinks at the pool, which is a few steps lower than the outdoor seating while the outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the Rock Beach and the Promenade.Had Chilli Fish and Kodi Veppudu in food and both were brilliant, small portions though.
Service is really bad. The waitors wont acknowledge your order. There is no security at the main door. There were people walking in and clicking photos of girls and management had developed a blind eye and deaf ear towards them even after repeated complaints. After waiting for 30 mins, we see that a table has become empty, we ask to be seated there. The waiter tells us to wait 5 mins and then another 15 mins no one is even cleaning the table so that we can sit. Do not go here if you want to relax because you will come out irritated and sad at the state of affairs for which you just paid a bomb.
