Mixed veg dosa, mixed noodles and mushroom pepper fry( as recommended by the staff) were all good. Honey and fig ice cream was good too. All this came to 326. As far as vegetarian dishes go, they were pretty good. This is a pure veg restaurant. Staff is cordial.
The eatery has a sea facing location and that’s the main thing about it. Food and ambience is simple, nothing extraordinary. They serve pure veg food. We had schezwan fried rice, chilli paneer and fried babycorn. They tasted okayish..not a place to visit second time.
Just a few steps from the beach. Perfect place to refresh yourself with a glass of lime soda or fresh juice.It’s a veg restaurant with decent seating, don’t expect anything fancy.
Food is full of oil, staff is unfriendly and treats u as if u r a burden, given u r from North, they brought Lime soda instead of Lime juice and forcefully added it into bill, along with that of Lime juice. Most of the times half the things in the menu aren’t available, not even tea!
Ever heard of a restaurant which does not serve its customers? If you havent then visit Selvas. You will be left sitting for 20 minutes and no one will take your order even if you ask them 5 times. But – if you are a local or a white skinned foreigner, then they will give you full attention. So be prepared to be discriminated against if you are a fair skinned north indian person. Most pathetic thing ive ever seen. People who walked in after us were being served but not us. We finally had to walk out as they made it clear that they are not interested in having us there.
These 4.5 stars is because of their wonderful staff. Sometimes its beyond food. When visiors are welcomed and greeted with smile and exemplary service you feel great ..:)
