Before a long drive on a Sunday morning, we checked in at the place for breakfast. Located in the main roads, the place is hard to miss and the ambience seems fine though they can put in efforts in maintaining the place tidier. We ordered for a plate of Idli with Medhu Vada and Pongal to start off. The Pongal was the winner in terms of taste. Though I ordered for the Idli, I was convinced my partner to eat the idli and give the plate of Pongal to me. There is nothing much to talk about the idli and vada, they were good in taste but however, I like the Medhu Vada without onions that are served in the restaurants. The chutneys were yum and so was the sambhar. After finishing off the food, we ordered tea and coffee. The tea was far and way better than the coffee. The coffee was just horrendous according to me; being a coffee maniac, I would hate it when someone messes the consistency or proportion of the milk or coffee decoction. It simple terms – the coffee wasn’t right and probably for the first time I left the cup of coffee untouched after the first sip. We paid Rs.125 INR for the above meal and I am for sure never visiting the restaurant. The quality of the food isn’t good and it isn’t worth the price spent. creatikaa.blogspot.com
