Visited this place recently during my trip to Ludhiana. I tried their basic kulfi, samose choley, pinni (aata n daal) and gajar halwa.Since I tried the basic kulfi it was just about average. The only good part was that it wasn’t too sweet. Samose choley is a meal in itslef. The presentation was interesting with two samose perfectly hidden under the choley and topped with grated mooli (pawan mukt aasan anyone). The samose were very crispy and tasted good. Though I will recommend to opt for samosa chaat as this one was heavy dose.Pinniyan were amazing. Lots of ghee n dry fruits and one pinni is enough to start the day.Unfortunately I don’t eat gajar halwa so can’t comment about it.Ambience is average and service is quick.Overall:Food: 3.5/5Ambience : 3/5Service: 3/5Value for money: 3.5/5

This is the oldest and first branch of Basant Ice cream in ludhiana. As the name suggests their ice creams are finger licking and specially Basant spl Kulfi. They started the Fast food along with the ice cream business and i have tried the noodles and manchurian and they are of average taste. I will advise people that whenever they visit ludhiana they must have a taste of their Kulfi which is quite tasty.
Born and brought up in Ludhiana, I’ve been eating kulfi at this place for donkey years. Yes when the kulfi costed 25 paise. This place has grown they have added different flavours opened many franchise outlets but if I want to eat Tille wali Kulfi, Kulfi falooda, This is the place to visit. you can easily get ice cream at this place till about 12:30 in the night. In winters they serve Gajar ka halwa and Gulab Jamun besides ice creams.Any visit to Ludhiana isn’t complete without a visit to this place.
