I had visited this place when It had just been launched. We ordered the basic stuff, Garlic bread & cold coffee. Can definitely cook much better garlic bread with cheese at home!! The good point was the decor, vibrant & artistic, these 2 points are only for the decor. Have never visited again because food is the main criteria of visiting a place again, decor can only get u to try it once!
Decent food little overpriced but quality wise not so bad. The ambiance is fine and the service playing. Better options available but can try the non veg fare
Situated in a bustling location, this is a small tiny restaurant. There is a turnoff that the place does not have a pleasant odour. The outside seating is not really a good option due to the dust and noise. Nevertheless, they have a good mix of continental mains. The food can take time. But the quantity and taste are really good. The coolers are not out of the blue and are mostly syrup based. The staff is warm and always at your beck and call.
I had ordered veg croquettes, chicken in oyster sauce and sweetcorn soup. Veg croquettes were a huge disappointment. The other two dishes were mediocre. Just an average place with great ambience.
I usually pick positive points of a place,But there were some turn off here. The first table we went toward, there were already few unwanted guests-Flies..Chose to sit in corner.AC was down..Kind Staff..Noodles were in good proportion, enough for two or even three,It was tasty with crispy well cooked vegetables..rightly priced..Cheese Garlic Bread was fine..Perfectly made shakes(not over chilled-just perfect, must reduce price in Drink Menu)..Not bad..But they can do better..
Stopped by for a quick bite after a movie.Ordered vegetable noodles and the non veg platter.Veg noodles were really good, generously endowed with crunchy greens. The non veg platter took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait.Humungous, with a variety of meats, chicken and fish.French fries, pita bread and dips as well.Enough to feed a family!Of course we couldn’t do justice to it.And the Staff sweetly apologised for the delay in serving the order.Food wise would rate Colonial Cafe highly. But was not impressed by the ambience.Has a rather bare look and feel.None of the warmth and coziness associated with a Cafe.Choice of loud, blaring music was another turn off.It is also rather oddly located on a very busy road near the Railway crossing where there is always fast moving traffic making it a bit awkward to stop and park.
