This was our second visit to Pujab Da Puttar. In terms of look and decor the place has upgraded itself from 6 months ago. But unfortunately the service has really gone down. We went there on last Sunday. They were hosting 2 big groups simultaneously – one in the kitty hall and one on the terrace. Apart from the groups there were at least 6-7 more tables occupied. It seems that they didn’t have enough staff to cater to so many guests. We were seated on the terrace and there was a single waiter trying to take orders from as well as serve more than 40 guests. Obviously he screwed up. We finished our meal but the onions or ketchup we had asked for never showed up.Quite a pity considering that this place actually serves decent food. The Aloo Chaat was delicious and so was the Paneer Butter Masala and the Amritsari Kulcha to go with it. In terms of taste the only let downs were the Manchow Soup and the Dahi Kebabs – which for some reason was overpowered with elaichi stuffing. The terrace ambiance is also good and the slight chill in the air added to the experience. But owing to the pathetic service we will never return to this place.
Very quick service , good ambience and what a great food . their amritsari dal is finger licking good , apart from that their malai pyaz ki sabzi and variety of rotis is delectable
So, this New restaurant called Punjab da puttar is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. They serve food of many varieties of food like Punjabi, Lebanese, Rajasthani. Especially the taste of there Dal Makhni is unforgettable. Must visit the place with your friends and family.
