I believe this is the most popular place in Amritsar to relish some delicious Amritsari delicacies.It is popular for Amritsari kulchas.I visit here every time I visit Amritsar as it is very near to golden temple. The restaurant offers sitting on two floor, however it is always packed with customers.
PATHETIC SERVICE. Though the food was still decent but the guy in charge was horrible in terms of hospitality. All he cared was to make the seat vaccant and make the next customer sit. When asked for refill for Cholas he literally would serve two spoons. Disappointed to the core. This place gives a bad impression to Amritsar altogether.
I had the amazing delicious aloo kulcha from here. it’s crispy and flavourful served with Chole and pickled onions. You can also have curd or lassi to have an amazing meal. Also, it’s so reasonable !! Ambience anf is good and staff is courteous. It’s too heavy so better avoid travelling after this.#highonbite
Happened to find this small place while we were strolling around the streets of Town hall. Ambience is very basic but the food is amazing. Had the Aalo kulcha which was really crispy and flavourful with a generous dollop of butter. Served with a side of chhole and some pickled onions and a large glass of lassi to wash it all down this was a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. Do try it if you are ever in this area. Highly recommended.
This place is located at a walking diatance from Sri Harmandir Sahib. Before going there, do expect some waiting time, this place is well-known for its Kulchas.Tried their Pithi wala Kulcha, a Kulcha which is made using Urad Dal. The crisp Kulchas you get here are really amazing.If you want an extra serving of Chole or Chutney with your Kulcha, feel free to ask for it.
If you really wanna try the authentic Amritsari kulcha you should consider this place over other options including kulchaland or brother’s dhaba as we have tried all places.They serve the perfect optimum quantity and most authentic taste.Go if you are only taste specific and from a foodie’s POV as one should not have expectations regarding the ambience due to very less space. Other than that, the most authentic Amritsari kulcha place right on golden temple road.
