A fine dine restaurant places inside Avaas Hotel, this place is a really great option for dining in with your family or your loved on. Beautiful ambiance and quality food.Visited this place during the food fest ‘Punjab – Sarhad Ke Paar’ hosted by masterchef Jyoti. What a perfect meal it was. An unbearable combination of tastes of Indian and Pakistani food. Tastes for the Punjab here and the Punjab there.The most special fact thar it wasn’t a buffet. Customers can order as per their choice from a predefined menu. The menu had dishes like paneer ke kebab, chukundar ke kebab, gola kebab, meat ke dalle, chulle ki daal, kumb ki baalti, kunna murgh, kunna meat and what not.Everything was perfect. But I felt this foodfest to be more specified and better tasting for the non veg food items. For those who are pure vegetarian, the fest wouldn’t have been that fruitful the way it has been for a hardcore non vegetarian like me.No complaints about the staff. Really polite and cooperative. We had a two day stay at Avaas and Desi English kitchen is the In-house restaurant. We were expecting it to be great. And it turned out to be just great if we consider the make of the restaurant and very segregated differently styled outlet having multiple themes.Now coming to the food which was a great let down.(- warning – Never try any South Indian cuisine, you will be disappointed a lot)With a new name comes the old taste .They have a variety of cusine with ample menu to choose fromYou may try anything and they are are pretty good.Presentation and service are very great.Taste is a thing of the past here.Desserts and appetizers are the best one should try em.
