Horrible food, horrible service.I visited this place with my office colleagues and we all are really disappointed with quality of food and service.Even the AC was not working properly. I would not suggest any of my friend or known to visit this place
This review is coming a bit late, but still I felt I should be writing because I wanted to put across my view.I reached Pearl , Hotel Ocean a bit late, I was promptly given a plate by the staff member who asked me about food preference.First came in the appetizers.I had Crispy corn, Chili Paneer, Potato Salsa, Grilled Vegetables, and Paneer Tikka.Things that really stood out for me were: Potato Salsa, Grilled Vegetables , and Crispy Corn, in that order. The Potato Salsa was my favorite. It was crisp inside because of potato and creamy and tasty outside. I took a couple of helpings and I could have had more. I was about to skip the Grilled Vegetables but I am glad a fellow foodie friend recommended that to me. I loved it. It was juicy, yet crisp. The crispy corn was good. Crisp and spicy. And eating alternate bites with the paneer and the potato salsa kind of worked for us as it balanced out the flavors and textures. The staff was really sweet and courteosNow, it was time for the main course. Despite being really full already, I tasted little bits of a limited items. Being vegetarian restuarant , one usually gets the same stuff everywhere: dal makhani, a paneer dish, a Chinese gravy, steamed rice and noodles. Other than these there was kadi pakora, pindi choley, and another variety of rice. But hats off all had different essence of flavours and felt unique in their way .I did not really try Kadi Chawal because I was full, but a fellow foodie really recommends it as one of the best item in the vegetarian main course. The dal makhni was amazing, the paneer was good as well. The Chinese was decent. While the appetizers thrilled me, the vegetarian main course was good enough. They had a good variety of desserts. Not being a really sweet tooth, I just tried the Halwa and the Chocolate Nutty Pie. The Manager recommended us their special Paan flavoured rasmalai . I have no words to describe . That dessert made my day . Totally deserves a 10 out of 10 .Overall, a great place to visit. Great ambiance, awesome staff, wonderful appetizers and desserts and off course nice music selection .
The food is really delicious.. Specially the fried ice cream and pan waali rasmalayi..
