Glad to see that the cafe culture in Ludhiana is coming up and there are cute little cafes sprouting in the posh localities of the city. I got to try one such cafe on my last visit to Ludhiana – the Tea Hut. It’s a cosy place with an eclectic menu and decent staff. I love their selection of teas. I was down with a cold that day so I had a pot of their herbal tea. Delicious it was. For food we had spring rolls, honey chilli potato and vada pav.The spring rolls were superb – really crispy and they came with good sauces. Enjoyed the vada pav too – it was spicy, quite close to the authentic thing in terms of flavour. The honey chilli potato wasn’t bad, but I have had it better. Also, they had probably used readymade potato shots in it. The service was fairly fast and the staff was polite.
