This is a very vintage place (literally) because Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur has started it long ago for his elite guests from abroad. Carrying forward the legacy, this place still serves food to most of the foreign travellers and during the season, the place is usually brimming with the tourist crowd…Coming on the food, it was basic Indian food. We did not really either liked it much or did not even hated it. It was kinda neutral…We had a full course meal with Paneer butter masala, Jeera Aloo, Vegetable Pulav, Raita, Bread, Salad, Cold Coffee and ice cream…Liked the rice and raita…They also offer cultural performances to enjoy with the food. There are pictures of the royal family with a description written on the behalf of Maharaja Jai Singh placed all over the place.
While this place is large and looks interesting, the food and entertainment is disappointing. Our laal Maas, even though recommended by the server was severely undercooked, and even after they took it back to cook it some more, it was unpalatable. The dancers were half-hearted and kept following the foreign tourists for tips. All in all, we didn’t enjoy this place at all.

A royal place to visit for Lunch and Dinner. Has a very lovely ambience with puppet shows and kalbeliya dancers performing in evening. Ordered veg north Indian and it was worth every penny. Located just oppsite Jai Club this place is must for people who dine out at lavish places. Prices are high but worth it. Must visit.
Go for the entertainment only! The food is just average not at all Rajasthani food. Its just food created for the foreigners visiting. The dishes just lack that flavour, I can seems to put my finger on it but mostly just bland food not spicy nothing. Lassi was really watery too. The entertainment is good, traditional folks dance and songs. Serves alcohol as well. Service is a bit slow too.
This restaurant was first opened in 1993 and boasts of being the first of its kind to have successfully attracted the foreign tourists for regular lunches and dinners. It serves beer and wine, used to be very popular with the tourists, before the advent of so many other outlets which have come up in C-Scheme since. It was conceived by Shree K Jai Singh(expired recently)who had been educated in the US. As you enter, you feel you are visiting the residence of one of your Rajput friends. The atmosphere is so informal and cordial that it immediately sets your mind at ease.I had ordered chicken Indiana and garlic nan-well cooked, delicately spiced food.Uppishly priced, but then it is not any regular joint. It provides you with a unique feel, and that’s what eating out is all about. In the evenings they have Rajasthani folk dances too. So,it’s again a good place to entertain guests who are on a visit to Rajasthan.
