Kailash restaurant is an old place in front of Hawamahal the post card building of Jaipur hence location is very central. It has food which is very traditional and has specific taste which can be classified as Dhaba style. Big plus of this point is that it offers lassi in many flavours which is quite good. Their makke ki roti and bajare ki roti is really good specially with dahi ki sabzi which they give. The food can come across as slightly oily and heavy as well so if you are into fine dining this is not a place for you. It will be a hit among the people those who can differentiate between Dhaba food which comes from a specific cooking style and modern restaurant food.
This is the best of the lot in and around City Palace. It’s a boon for tourists. I visited like one. The menu is very simple with a couple of thaali. Plain, Rajasthani, Punjabi etc., I’ve tried Punjabi and Plain. Served with 2 Tandoori rotis liberally masked with Butter and a mouthful of rice. Curries like Palak Paneer, Dal Makhani, Dal, Paneer Kadai, Chenna Masala are just delicious. The place is small. Only cash accepted. I’ve visited twice in my 4 day trip. That’s a sign from a tourist that this place is really good. A must try.
We had traditional Rajasthani thali here and it tasted wonderful especially the dal bati churma. Special mention to the staff who took out time between serving other customers to explain the food to us and how to eat it. The thalis were reasonably priced and the place was clean and it sees quite high footfall. We had a good time.

Completely a No No! The guy is just playing with the location, otherwise the food was horrible. The price is overboard with zero quality and quantity.
Very bad service actually worst service. Food very bad. Don’t go this restaurant ever Food over expensive. Staffs don’t know how to talk. Avoid
