Situated in the main heart of Rajapark, this shop, with its wide welcoming main road presence is not hard to find.Early morning visit to any halwai is bound to be sweetened by fresh hot jalebies. The jalebies they make here are weirdly very small discs. I mean instead of big and thin, these were wee little jalebies with a healthy amount of meat on them but that did not make them any less crisp. The flavoring was that of saffron and it was easily detectable. They also keep Karachi bakery biscuits for some reason which is very welcome because who doesn’t love Karachi bakery’s biscuits? The staff was quick with jalebies although the price is where this place looses points. It was too high. With winters waltzing in, if they keep the kesar Pista doodh, I’ll definitely be going back.

It’s a shop situated on the busy lane of Raja Park which sells a wide variety of sweets and snacks. During the days of navratri it used to sell falhar food stuff too.I ordered :Sabudana khichdi: The chewy texture and starchy taste of sago is so beautifully complemented by the nutty flavour of coarsely powdered peanuts, making this khichdi soothing to the taste-buds and very tempting too. A bit of lemon juice is necessary to make it taste a little better. Others might find it’s taste bland if you’re a spicy food lover else it was all in all an okay experience!Sabudana tikki: This sabudana tikki impressed me a lot with it’s vibrant flavours and spices. Topped with green coriander mint chutney, red tamarind chutney and chopped coriander in generous amount, it tastes amazing. The amount is although a bit too much according to the quantity which they serve.Sabudana vada:A bit disappointed with this because it wasn’t freshly made. It was too hard to chew and tasted stale. The curd was good thought. But was a waste of money and quantity is less according to the amount they charge for it.Imarti:It is freshly prepared and tastes good.Dry fruit Chocolate bites:Very overpriced but nice. If you are a chocolate lover then this is a must try. It is filled with the goodness of dry fruits and nuts. I absolutely loved it. Daal Pakwaan:Very disappointed with the kind of preparation they have for their Dal Pakwaan. The daal tastes bland and has no salt or spices. Their Pakwaan was stale and wasn’t crispy at all. Total waste of money.
