  Very crappy service from the restaurant and the staff was extremely rude. First of all the hotel has 4 restaurants, 3 out of which were serving a fixed menu and only 1 was a la Carte. Unfortunately the a la carte restaurant was booked for a private party so we had to go back to Verandah. Anyways we had had a late breakfast so were not in a mood for a very heavy lunch with a full course menu and we saw that tables around us were eating sandwiches and small snacks, so I thought my husband and I will get a few cocktails and get some finger foods / sandwiches to go with it. Anyways we ordered our drinks and were looking at the menu for what we can order. We were then informed that sandwiches are only for hotel guests and not outsiders, so we thought we will get our drinks and then leave. But they refused to serve our drinks and said we would have to move to the bar. The main person running the restaurant service asked us to vacate the table even though a lot of other tables were vacant and no guest was waiting for a table. Unfortunately we couldn’t note the name of the restaurant manager. But this was pathetic service from Taj given I am a loyal Taj customer. Taj has begun to disappoint

  It is located in Taj Rambagh Palace, Bhawani Singh Road.They serve North Indian and Continental food. They are open from 11 am-11 pm. The average cost for two people here is INR 4,000. Food: Their char grilled vegetables are enticing to the taste buds. Their chicken strangroff is okish. Their spaghetti alfredo will make you drool all over it. Their avocado burger is one of the best burgers that you will eat in your life. Their vegetable platter is incredibly amazing as well. Their chilled gazpacho soup has an incredible taste that is sure to be a delight like no other. Their chicken kathi rolls are incredibly wonderful as well. Their pesto pasta is finger-licking good as well. Their macarons are lovely but it could be better.Ambiance and Amenities: They have an amazing lawn and an ambiance that is spread over a large area. They have a wheelchair and a full bar that is available here.

  You feel like royalty, the minute you enter Rambagh Palace and the service at the Verandah makes it even better. It’s a quite corridor on the back end of the palace overlooking the lush lawns with peacocks. A very relaxing experience!

  The restaurant has a peaceful and relaxing ambience. Manager and staff members were very co-operative. Overall beautiful experience. Would love to visit again.

  We were visiting Jaipur for a holiday and decided to try the Taj high tea experience as we had heard a lot about it. The tea platter and ambience was lovely. However what really disappointed us was the Taj hospitality. In the bill we were charged 1300 rs extra for 2 cups of tea which we had not ordered. Assuming it was a mistake which is ok I called the steward. However even before checking the bill, very rudely and with a lot of attitude he told us that a mistake is not possible only. Upon checking the bill when he realised we were right he was not at all apologetic. We were all very upset and it left a bad taste in our mouth. We didn’t expect this from a Taj property.
