In search of some real good Rajasthani Dal – Bati, I went to this place as it was closest to my stay in Jaipur. Place appeared average with it’s interior and it was late noon so not much of a rush in there.I ordered Dal Bati Thali, which comes with Dal, Kadhi, Gatta Curry, Three different types of Churmas and 4 Bati of which 2 are regular and 2 Masala Bati.I liked Masala stuffed Bati and that was the only good food from the Thali. Gatta Curry was weird, never have had that kind of gravy before. Dal and Kadhi were average. And churma was too sweet to each more than a spoonful.I would call it a ordinary experience, though this place has been blessed with the gorgeous Mandira Bedi once :p and they have it photo framed.

Paratha hut: very easy to approach basically located at sindhi camp, jaipur. Its a very cozy, simple vegetarian place where you can go anytime whenever you’re low on pockets and don’t wanna cook food. I tried their veg. Chowmein, masala dosa and cheese pizza. The food was good in taste.Overall:Food (4/5)Ambience (2/5)Service (3/5)
Had a stuff parantha here it’s awesome. Though the ambiance of the place is not good, but really want evry1 to taste their parantha’s. And for paranthas, it will be a icing on cake if they provide raita instead of curd with parantha. Will be here again soon.
You can find very delicious Dal Bati dish having three kinds of Churma. Ambiance was good. Service was fast. Food quality and taste were impressive. Overall, it’s worth a shot.
Summary- A reminder of what authentic Jaipur quality is. Must eat if not must go.My first memory of eating here is actually quite old, but I happened to visit this place again today after years, maybe more than a decade.I have lived out of Jaipur for 5 years now, and I will be honest that I forgot what quality of food Jaipur had. Somewhere I was swayed by the fancy bars at restaurants of Chennai, Bangalore, Dubai, Mumbai, Delhi etc. And eating here today reminded me what actual quality means.Pros- excellent simple parathasCome- ambience is slightly gloomy.Recommendation- go there, try it and leave a review on Zomato. More people should know about them.
Went here this afternoon. My husband and I were looking for a place to have simple, local food. And what a find!Ambience: a really simple place with no pretence. Very clean. Staff: courteous and have a good knowledge of menu. Food: excellent food! Had jodhpuri parantha and tava alu chat salad. Highly recommend both. Am sure other items on the menu would be good too. Price: it is actually more pocket friendly than you imagine. Full value for money. Over all a good place.
